Plastech Mining Supplies - Background & Company History

Previously Noran Management, established by Norman Jackson in 1987, started with the J-Fitting range and developed and manufactured the borehole pump, which turned into the Hand Pump which is still sold today. In 2005 Norman Jackson decided to sell the company and immigrate to England. The staff included Francis van der Waltsleben, Andre du Toit, Daey Ferreira and George Maswanganye. In 2006, Gideon and Francis van der Waltsleben bought the company from Norman Jackson and started operating on the 1st of March 2006.

The Company Name was changed to Plastech Mining Supplies and since then, the company has developed into several divisions, with 25 staff members, supplying several products including Hose Mender and J-fittings, Hand, Air and Grout Pumps, Pre-Stress Bags etc to several Leading and Innovative Companies.
